MindMaze are a promising band like no other. In a time when female-fronted metal is at an all-time high in popularity but also at an all-time high for copycats and imitators, MindMaze has striven hard to forge their own sound and identity. Hailing from Allentown, Pennsylvania the four-piece band are young (all aged 23-25), but have honed their craft with over one-hundred gigs spanning over 250+ miles, including sharing the stage with metal mainstays such as Saxon, Doro, Overkill, Jon Oliva's Pain, Circle II Circle, Fozzy, George Lynch, Raven, and many more.
The band's debut album Mask of Lies has been hailed by fans and critics all over the world as an outstanding piece of independent metal that is refreshing while being firmly rooted in many classic metal mainstays. With no label support, management, or outside hired promotion, the band managed to sell copies of Mask of Lies to fans in 34 of 50 United States and a total of 17 countries worldwide, selling 90% of the album's first pressing in the first 10 months of its release.
On the heels of Mask of Lies' success, the band has begun work on their sophomore effort Back from the Edge, tentatively due in September 2014, featuring artwork by MONOWASP (Seventh Wonder, Harem Scarem, Brazen Abbot, Crash Diet, many more), Symphony X bassist Mike LePond on all tracks, and guest appearances by members of Stratovarius, Pharaoh, LORD, and Draekon.

Skinlab, IKILLYA, Product of Hate

Skinlab is an alternative metal band formed in Oakland in September 1995 by bassist/vocalist Steev Esquivel and guitarist Mike Roberts; the group also includes guitarist Gary Wendt and drummer Paul Hopkins. The intense, ultra-heavy riffing showcased on their demo tapes got them a contract with Century Media, which issued their debut album, Bound, Gagged and Blindfolded, in 1997. However, both guitarists left the group in the wake of the heavy touring that followed; ex-Skrew guitarist Snake and ex-Killing Culture and Laaz Rockit guitarist Scott Sargeant were eventually brought in as replacements. This lineup recorded the 1998 Eyesore EP to tide fans over; the full-length Disembody: The New Flesh appeared in 1999. Sergeant left the group shortly before they decided to step back into the studio, but Glen Telford was quickly plugged into his spot. Hooking together with producer Steve Evetts, the band recorded Revolting Room and released it in the summer of 2002. After touring with Metal Heavyweights Slayer in 2003, the band went on a 3 year hiatus, but has since reformed.

Treephort, The Emotron, Dr. Cirkustien

In a world where punk rock has grown stagnant and politically correct, where cookie-cutter bands worry more about gaining praise than being creative, Treephort has come to rescue us with a fresh take on punk meets grindcore meets classic rock with fun, cheeky lyrics, and stage antics only to be attempted by those who have no fear of disfigurement.
Treephort has created a cult-like following by performing high-energy, "different", always-hilarious, sometimes-dangerous, often-times legendary live concerts. Their shows offer refreshingly simple, do-it-you-yourself, "Nerdcore", novelty-punk rock n' roll with outrageous (albeit sometimes confusing) art-house theatrics.
Treephort encourages folks to come out of their shells, laugh, have a little fun, not take life so seriously, and truly immerse themselves into the live performance. They also encourage the audience to spit on them, well sometimes. After another long hiatus, another new generation of Treephort has emerged. Old fans? Nice to see you again. New fans? Welcome. That thing under your nice bangs is called a smile.

The Toasters have been touring across the globe incessantly for the last 33 years. Jakarta, Bogota, Irkutsk, Istanbul, Shanghai - you name it, they've been there and done it. Since breaking out in 1981 on the rough and tumble East Side of NYC, the band's name has become synonymous with DIY touring and a fierce indie ethic. Here we are in 2013 and the calendar is already packed with two North American tours, South America, Europe, South East Asia, Russia and points east. In April the band will feature at the London International Ska Festival. The milestone of 5000 live shows is long out of sight in the rear view mirror.
To celebrate the new year the Toasters are releasing THE HOUSE OF SOUL vinyl 45rpm on their own Megalith records label. A series of singles will presage the LIFE IS A PARTY album. There will also be releases on London's Cherry Red Records of a special anniversary compilation as well as a re-edit of the classic 1987 POOL SHARK album. 2013 will also see a vinyl release of their breakthrough 1991 NEW YORK FEVER (produced by the great Joe Jackson) in collaboration with Jump Up Records out of Chicago.
The Toasters have been hailed as "ska pioneers" (Billboard magazine), the "sound of NYC" (New York Times) and as a core artist at CBGB. Widely acclaimed as being the progenitors of Third Wave Ska they are a true American 2-Tone band.

Architect, Distorted Retrospect, Iioioioii, DJ Price

Architect is a unique hybrid of IDM, electronica, and smooth ambient soundscapes inexhaustibly explored by German mastermind Daniel Myer. In a career spanning over fifteen years Daniel has been connected to but never belonged to a host of scenes and styles. Architect was created in 1998 and has since proven his mettle on a multitude of releases and on countless acclaimed concerts world-wide. In 2010 Alan Wilder (Recoil) discovered Architect's brilliance, which led to Daniel performing as a support act for Recoil on several acclaimed shows in Europe and the United States. Architect's most pronounced quality is the accomplished combination of powerful grooves and atmospheric soundscapes resulting in music that is suitable for both listening and dancing. Architect's sixth full length album 'Mine' constitutes an appreciable shift in direction compared to his previous works by adding compositional and instrumental innovations brand new to this project. Supported by well-respected artists like Ben Lukas Boysen a.k.a. Hecq, guitarist and cellist Felix Gerlach, Dejan Samardzic (DSX), legendary producer, engineer, and remixer Paul Kendall, Canadian musician and sound designer Comaduster and Hungarian vocalist Emese Arvai-Illes (Black Nail Cabaret), Architect marches to no one's beat but his own, expanding ambitious electronica with comprehensive down-tempo song structures. Moderate yet decisive beats and precise keyboard and string arrangements build the foundation for Emese's exceptional voice transmitting suspense, depth and sinister beauty with perfectly fitting lyrics. Depending on how and when you listen, this atmospheric release can fill you with menace and sadness, or send you into a deep reverie. Uncompromising, muscular and powerful, the music of 'Mine' is also full of subtle touches and a supple sense of rhythm. Highly recommended for devotees of Moderat, Recoil or House of Black Lanterns - this album will be 'yours' for sure.

Reverend Hylton is an artist touring for redemption.

Spending his 20s traveling through trouble around the country, playing his guitar and gaining valuable life experiences — most of which he doesn't remember, the party had come to a stop and Justin "got his head together."

Right now Reverend Hylton is free from the tendrils of addiction and focused on touring his full length LP, Stubborn Nail. Reverend Hylton was once the 'Stubborn Nail' but he is now free. Naturally his songwriting is influenced by his experiences with addiction, and everything he learned after coming out of his drug-fueled haze. However, his conviction comes across as an emotionally moving experience; genuine, raw and smacking of everything that one would expect from a true artistic talent and a real slice of Americana.

Dollar Signs EP Release Show with Mall Goth, Almost People, Normal Dennis

There’s a fear to growing old in a world that doesn’t care about you, and Dollar Signs can relate; as a diverse group of friends who try to solve their problems in sweat-soaked rooms and dingy basements, singing and dancing away the fear. It’s group therapy for weekend warriors who have to work jobs that they hate. It’s a gala of cheap beer and sweaty hugs. Dollar Signs may as well be the band that played on the deck of the Titanic as it sank into the freezing ocean. We’re all in this together, and Dollar Signs knows that. After the release of their self-released full length album, Yikes, the band has been hitting the road and getting acquainted with the van - and now two tours, three blown tires, a branded hot sauce,  and a family-size box of Tums later, they’re ready to do it again. This may not last forever, but for now, while there’s still a tinge of hopelessness in the air, Dollar Signs needs to party with you, because it’s the only way to survive the times.

Paint Fumes, The Bolos, Taylor Made Dro, Lofidels

PAINT FUMES drew first blood together in the year 2011, sharing a mutual love of garage scuzz and brain-chain reaction, and the connection was immediate and fierce. Sounds congealed via weekly seances at the Sewercide Mansion in Charlotte, NC and relentless touring which brought their unhinged reverberations to points all across the USA. Like the lovechild of Link Wray and Cheetah Chrome, raised by Lemmy on the streets of Venus, they sweated out the fever every night in ecstatic style. By the time Slovenly Recs got around to spitting out a couple classic 45s and their debut platter Uck Life, most true heads and even those way out of the know alike had gotten the message. Deep within a blitzkrieg of treble and feedback, there were real live tunes to sink your teeth into – the stuff that's stuck in your head when you wake up in another dimension.
In the year of the horse, the 'Fumes swelled in ranks with Ian Rose and Ben Carr of NC synthtopian punks Natural Causes, starting twelve thrash bands and surviving on nothing but hallucinations of vegetarian chimichangas. Together this crew ruined the beaches of Europe with Los Vigilantes, converted hundreds on the all-night diesel-powered festival circuit and in the midst of it all took a vacation down to Puerto Rico and committed to tape a new full-length entitled If it ain't Paint Fumes it ain't worth a huff!
